Portland Sites

If you have some extra time while you are in town, here are some great, easy to reach places to go.
*Powell's Books- This is one of the greatest bookstores ever! It is located on Burnside street, between 10th and 11th.
*Oregon Zoo- Great place to take the kids (or great for adult kids), and can be reached by taking the Max light rail west to the Washington Park stop.
*NW 23rd Ave- There are a ton of fun little shops and great places to eat. Take the Portland Streetcar north on 10th Ave. to 23rd and Lovejoy, then walk south.
*Saturday Market- Open-air market where vendors sell arts and crafts, food, and other interesting finds. Open Saturday and Sunday underneath the Burnside Bridge.
*Waterfront Park- Walk along the river on the Westside riverwalk between the Steel and Hawthorne bridges, or cross over to the Eastside Esplanade riverwalk.
